My Gasolator looks like glass but feels like a hard plastic. I too like to see the fuel in it. I've never noticed any water in it, but that is one of my pre-flight checks. If the one in others planes are glass I would sure see if a hard plastic could replace the glass. Maybe the plastic will break just as easily as a glass one, but a glass of fuel in the engine compartment is disconcerning to me. A fly an Alon. Does anyone know whether or not the gasolator on the Alon is really plastic as I think it is, or is it glass?
I get to Lee's Summitt, Missouri, from time to time and I have noticed a Forney there in a hanger and I heard it was a recent purchase for the current owner. Is the owner one of the group? If not, are there any other Lee's Summitt coupers on line? Would like to hear from you. Kenneth Doyle Alon N5477E Springfield, Mo [EMAIL PROTECTED]
