Tony, seems to me that I read in a coupe capers late 97 about an ercoupe organization restoring an old coupe for subsequent rent to club/organization members. I think it was in North Carolina or thereabouts. Anyone else recall this? A better bet would be to email anyone in your area with a coupe and ask for a ride; or if you locate one at an airport just contact the owner and ask for a ride. That is how I got started, and it has been my experience that most coupers are anxious to share their enthusiasm with other interested parties. Good luck.
