Well, the next thing you know Ole Jed's a searching the net,
Looking for a plane that won't put him in debt,
He surfs to Dave's page and glory be,
He fell in love with a 415-C.
(Ercoupe, that is..... Best buy.... easy to fly....)
Well, his Ercoupe is his prize and so much fun,
Flaps and rudder pedals, his coupe has none,
A steering wheel instead of a yoke,
It'll do an honest ninety and that's no joke,
(Miles per hour, that is.... Fast Bird....)
Well, Ole Jed's coupe is a legend to all.
Can't make it spin and it'll never stall.
Convertible top and twin tail.
You can buy one and not end up in Hell.
(Inexpensive, that is...... Most bang for the buck... Give your sole to
Jesus)
Now the moral of the story is buy yourself a coupe,
It'll get you in the air and the price won't knock you loop.
Just be careful when you explain it to your wife,
You'll want to keep one of them for the rest of you life.
