Thanks to all who have answered my previous inquiries. Hate to seem like a pest, but I flew our Coupe this morning for the first time, and have a couple of more questions: 1. My partner flew the airplane home for 5 hours from where we bought it, and everything went OK. This morning, it seems like the fuel pump may not be working. The bobber was way down, about ½ inch up, and we flew the pattern twice. It never went up, although the wing tanks were nearly full. On the second landing, the wire was bottoming out. We put 1.9 gallons in the nose, and bobber went up to where it was on the trip home. Then, when we flew it, after about 20 minutes, bobber started falling again, We had stayed close to the airport, so we landed. Bobber was at most 3/4 inch up from the bottom, and wouldn't rise anymore. The right wing tank was leaking out over the wing in flight, so it looked like gas was going backward from nose into right wing tank. So, do we have the mechanic look at the pump? Is there a test that can be done to see if pump is working? 2. When gently pulling plane by the prop hub, there is ever so slight a movement, for and aft, in the prop hub. Is this a bad thrust bearing in the engine? The movement is almost imperceptible, but it is there. Anything to worry about? Engine seems to have had a good overhaul less than 300 hours ago. It seems like I remember this condition on other airplanes over the years. Your answers and suggestions are always helpful. Thanks. Jerry Eichenberger N2906H
