I am looking for the official Continental Service bulletin describing the C75 to C85 conversion. I called TCM and they said the Service Bulletin M49-17 has been deleted from their files and is no longer available. Does anyone have a copy? I am writing an article for our newsletter on that topic and I would like to have the "official" scoop in front of me. I would also be interested in experiences others have had with 0-200 conversions (topic of another article). I am interested in problems encountered, performance improvements, etc.
Out of curiosity I asked the price of a remanufactured O-200 from Teledyne
Continental. Hold on to your hats folks ... in the range of 15 to 17K
(depending on configuration) and a 5K core charge if you don't have one!
Rather pricey, but I should think there are other alternatives.
