Hello Coupers

I ordered a set of so called "0riginal" control wheels from Univair for my
1946 Ercoupe. Does anyone have drawings showing how they are supposed to
be
mounted? The ones in the Coupe now are red and definitely not "original"
they had been mounted with the wheel extending below the center of the
control shaft (upside down, I think). I have since turned them right side
up and they no longer hit our knees. The present yokes have a tube
protruding from one side that slides over the control shaft, with two
bolts
going through the yoke tube and the control shaft which are held by two
self locking nuts.

The yokes from Univair are black with a 2 1/2 inch metal plate on the
front
and on the back of the yoke, held together with six screws and nuts, the
plates clamp over the three wheel spokes. There is no tube extending from
either side of the Univair yokes, the metal plates have a 7/8 inch
diameter
hole through them.

I can't for the life of me figure how the new yokes attach to the control
shaft. Can anyone help me?
