OK, here's what is going on.
Most mailing lists have a concept of HARD BOUNCE and SOFT BOUNCE.
So if you are trying to deliver to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
a HARD BOUNCE is a response from YOUR email server that says, "You
got
myisp.com, but I ain't never heard of no JOE. Go away." Topica would
receive a response EVERY time from the isp saying, "go away." Pretty
soon
this bogs down the server, so it disables the account, and marks it to be
deleted permanently. (Kind of makes sense. Usually this happens because
someone has canceled their service, and neglected to remove themselves
from
the list.)
a SOFT BOUNCE occures when topica trys to deliver to myisp.com and
can't
connect for some reason. It will keep trying for 1 week, and if it still
can't connect, it will treat it like a hard bounce.
SO, what seems to have happened is that all of you @home.com users out
there
(people who's email ends in @home.com) were put on the HARD BOUNCE list
and
disabled. If you read the description above, THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR
ISP, NOT TOPICA.
I have bulk enabled all of the @home.com accounts. Hopefully this
resolves
the problem for most of you.
If you still can't get through...then go back and TRY THE WEB PAGE
AGAIN...REALLY. Each of you ask me to do it for you just this once and I
end up doing it 10 times a day. Please take the time to resolve it via
