I had a coupe on ski's, but I did not like the ski on the nose wheel.  It was hard to turn and I was afraid it may hit the prop if the cable broke.    Federal 1500 is the size ski.  I had ski's on a champ and they work real well.  You can land on lakes where they have a resort & cafe and get some food, it's alot of fun.    Ski's on nose wheel planes are not good,  ski's are hard on the gear on hard snow or ice.   Gene from IL

All this talk about snow and flying has me wondering... Since the coupe is
certified for use with skis, how many of you have fitted skis to your coupe,
and what was it like? Just curious.  Floats would help me more w/ all the
rain we have had lately, but we all know about the lost fabled sea-coupe <sigh
>.
So how about it... ski's on a coupe?
