It was hard to turn and I was afraid it may hit the prop if the cable broke. Federal 1500 is the size ski. I had ski's on a champ and they work real well. You can land on lakes where they have a resort & cafe and get some food, it's alot of fun. Ski's on nose wheel planes are not good, ski's are hard on the gear on hard snow or ice. Gene from IL
