Hi Joa,
    I don't know if it's documented or not, but I read 'somewhere' a
couple of years ago when this was
an 'on-going' topic that the bubbleshield captures air at the bottom of
the bubble and whoever did the
'before and after' said he'd lost 3 to 5 mph after converting to the
bubble.
    Also, you have to cut some metal away when installing the slightly
oversized bubble and this of
course means you're stuck with the bubble shield from then on as you'd
have to replace some metal to
convert back if you ever decided to.
    Just my 2 cents worth, I don't like the looks of the bubble as well as
the flat shield, it just
doesn't seem to 'blend' with the rest of the coupes' lines as well. (Sort
of looks out of place). Like I
said, my opinion is probably only worth about 2 cents, but It's mine and
I'm stuck with it. The opinion,
I mean.
    I can't think of any benefit, other than looks, and that's strictly in
the eyes of the beholder.
    As an after thought  (I've never heard this mentioned before), if it
traps air and reduces speed,
wouldn't it seem logical that it would also add 'drag' and therefor use a
little more fuel?
