Yeah:

I don't know how to explain it so that I make cents/sense but here goes:

We ran it on a Tomahawk. Here are the basic results.

Static RPM when up by 100, (2200 - 2300). However there was no increase in
speed, (7500 msl, 75% prower). Numerous test for over two months indicated
that we did not make a significant increase. Any increase that was noted,
and a increase was rarely noted, could have been from any factor. It could
not be tied back to the tape.

Why didn't it work? We had it on a Tomahawk, which is equipped with a
thin,
low pitch prop. A thick, wood, high pitch prop is running very close to
stall. (Remember the prop is just a spinning wing). So, on the high pitch
prop, the tape "May" cause enough turbulence, vortex, to prevent the air
from separating and give more lift (pull). The tape is surpose to work
like Vortex Generators for the prop, so the prop may be as improtant as
the
tape.

Thats about as far as we've went. We've just got a Glassair with the wood
high pitch prop and may try it again.
