This is a GOOD reason to have a "ISO" switch on the intercom. I've used it
only a few times: once to hear ATC over an excited (not exited) child, once
to hear other traffic over an adult who was trying to impersonate a shepard
in a VW (Head out the side and wind in the mic) and once on a cross country
to not have to hear my passengers snoring. <G!>
