the Goodyeasr brakes were not ment to stop the airplane, I believe... The 
original disc is too thin. On heating up under hard braking, the disc
warps,

kicks off the lock clips, and this locks up the wheel....

Solution:  use them only lightly; or replace the discs with the thicker
172 
discs.  from ElReno @ ~ $30.00 each.....and possibly use a slightly
thinner 
puck  from Barry Jay Aviation @ $3.00 each... or change to Clevelands... 
Clevelands seem to lock up from corrosion., but most people prefer them as

parts are available.....
