I don't know if there are any WW2 pilots on this list, but after walking in a local cemetary I came upon a grave of a young man who had obviously died in the service of his country. It said on his tombstone, that he was in the T.C. 308th squardon. Excuse my ignorance, but i'm a civilian, squadron refers to the air force right? Anyway, he was quite young when he died, maybe in his teens, even, but was remarkable about the tombstone was that there was an actual picture of the young man on the tombstone. Anyone have any history about the "T.C." 308th squadron I think his name was Hugh Jolly. Thanks P.S. anyone have any comments about Pappy Wellington, re: the Black Sheep Squadron? I think he has written a novel and is giving a talk on his book at a bookstore soon. Worth going to?
