Thanks for the welcome and to that many responses about insurance--got lots to explore. Looks like a good group of folks to be in touch with--hope I can start to make valuable contributions in the near future! I heard so many good things about these planes since my childhood, now it's time to make the dream a reality... About 2449H, it's a nice C-75 rag-wing 'coupe which spent most of it's life in AZ so it's clean, low TTAF and SMOH. No rudder pedals, and really fun to fly. I need to add a Mode C to my transponder for the aisrpace around here and update the nav/com to 720 ch. as I believe I am supposed to do ?!? I'll post a photo on the ercoupers website soon. About me, I'm in San Jose and just ready for my checkride next month (in a 152 just to eliminate the 2-control restrictions) Looking forward to a lot of fun!
