I'm started the worst job on coupes this week. New window seals. (Lord Help). I've spend the last two days removing glue, missing skin to prove it. Then half way into the cleaning process, on the front channel, I discovered that the channel is kept in place by some small screws. I took these out, removed the channel and clean the them in about an hour (put them in the oven and cooked at 450 for half an hour. Season to taste. The stuff just rubbed out with a scottbrite. The smoke alarm only came on once.) So I will drill the rivets from the back ones tomorrow and clean them the same way. We discussed here, several years ago, about a possilbe replacement to the orginal seals. Has anyone came up with a better seal? __________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________ T O P I C A -- Learn More.
