Jim, I was having mech.fuel pump problems for awhile. After pricing new pumps and kits for pumps and taking into consideration the location (accessability) of the mech. pump, I decided on the Facet electric pump. It's readily 337 approved, readily accessable (engine side of firewall) in it fails, readily known if it fails (kit has warning light on panel) or if your wing tanks go dry, and if it fails it's cheaper and easier to replace. I love it!
