Everyone, the A&P college in Reedley where I am sub teaching has the engine from the X-15. It was donated to them by NASA. We are thinking about an STC for installation into the Ercoupe. I will have to install the cowl with velcro however, the overhaul life of the engine is 60 minutes run time. Behind it sits 2 Bell X-1 engine's from Yeager's airplane.
