Ed, I envy you! I'm paying $70/mo for a tie-down. Even if I could afford the $250-350 for a hangar, I probably wouldn't live long enough to see my name make it to the top of the waiting list! Even tie-downs aren't always available and a list starts for them also. $150/mo hangars are available if I'm willing to drive 1.5 hours each way. The coupe I just bought was always hangared. Fortunately, during the ground-up rebuild, they zinc-chromated the s**t out it, wings and fuselage, so it should hold up OK. I'll keep an eye on it and I'm probably going to get on a program of CorrosionX treatments every other year to keep it corrosion free.
