Save money you say?  The first thing I noticed was the $2500 sq. ft.
minimum
for the houses.  That's about a half million dollar house, give or take.
Let's see...  $200/mo. for a hangar vs. ~$5000/mo. for upscale airpark
house.  Nice, but not a place for many Ercoupe owners.

That seems to be the problem with most airparks, or for that matter most
new
construction housing.  A contractor will spent almost the same amount of
his
time building an expensive house or a cheap one.  He makes a lot more
money
on the big one.  So almost no one builds moderate income homes.
Especially
near large cities where the good jobs are.

Another bad thing about most airparks is the fighting over whether someone
is complying with the covenants, or wanting to restrict something new.
