Sorry to be a bit off topic.
You must be thinking about a gold plated house with a diamond entry way. 
Most of the homes are and will be under $300K sure some will be more, 
and many can be built fo much less. My wife and I are airline 
employees,(not pilots or mgt.) so we are certinly not financially rich. 
Remember it's not how much you make, it's how much you save that counts. 
This is Georgia, not California life is much cheaper
here, especially 55 miles south of Atlanta. 
I certinly understand the challenges of building a home and dealing with 
a contactors. But, building in an airpark has no more challenges
than in any other community. 
Give it some thought, it's not as expensive as you may think.
