      I tend to agree wiht you, even though I've never done the spar
removal myself.  I would say if you got everything out and on the floor,
you'd be lucky if you could do it in a couple of days hard work with two
people and lots of cursing.  Maybe I'm wrong. I was wrong once, I
thought I made a mistake, but I hadn't. Don't forget the time involved
in removal of wings,gear, possibly engine, controles, seats,and mounting
on some kind of stand. And when it's finally out, I'm sure you're no
where near half way done. I knew a fellow who replaced his main spar
with a good used one. It was done by a professional and cost him
$10,000. Can. [$6,000 U.S.]  And to think I almost bought that plane
just before the present owner did!  Praise the Lord for small mercies.
