George; It has been over a year since I did the Alon extended baggage
installation, so details are getting fuzzy. However, I took two days
drilling
pieces and using clecos to hold them together in order to figure out where
everything went. (someone on the Coupers net berated me for saying it took
about 40 hours to install >grin<) I used a level to make sure the aircraft
was level, as well as the baggage compartment floor. As I recall, the
front
piece has an indentation in it to clear the upper elevator cable. The
piece
goes under the cable. The floor of the baggage compartment ends up being
at
two different levels, with the rear being higher. I sent the drawings that
came with the kit with the aircraft, so I have nothing to refer to at this
point besides my fuzzy memory.
Feel free to call me 863 635 7916 to chat about it if you like.
