When McCauley first came out with the 1A90 series props there was a
suspected 
resonance between it and the C75/C85 crank (as well as some A series).  
Experience eventually dispelled the suspicions and they issued a service 
bulletin rescinding the rpm restriction.  Many aircraft TC's specify a
decal 
displaying the restriction, but it should no longer be required.  The text
