Oh NO it starting again !!

The Coupe WILL stall, with or without pedals.
Why doesn't it spin ?
Simple: you maintain full roll authority throughout the stall.  Thus the
wing will not drop and no spin is entered.

Mine has pedals.  You can cross control it (crab, slip), but you still
can't

spin it because it doesn't really stall.  My understanding is that the 
primary reason the 'Coupe doesn't stall is the limited elevator travel.
No 
stall, no spin.  You can get it to sort-of drop a wing if you haul the
nose 
high but don't stay coordinated.
