Thought I would answer 2 with one, the original messages follow.
    Yes I think we can do this, The hard part is finding components to
reproduce. Some could be salvaged possibly and could be offered. As to
just
repairing parts I do it all the time and have duplicated about 60% of a
Stinson 108-1 so far. I can use help in finding used and damaged
components
or Aircraft. The main thing I want to do is have parts much lower than the
standard sources with a high quality.

And From Doug,
Great idea, Jim, but do you really think you can manufacture these parts
to
the required tolerances and get the necessary approvals to use them in
certified aircraft much cheaper than Univair can?  Or did I miss your
intent
and that is to act as a used parts depot and clearinghouse for Ercoupe
parts?  If the latter is what you intend, you may have something there!
