An aircraft owner (non-Ercoupe owner) was having engine difficulties. His engine was stumbling upon throttle application, had a rough idle, and wouldn't give him a decent mag drop. He took it to the local FBO and asked the mechanic to look at it. The mechanic called the next day saying the plane was ready. The aircraft owner took it around the pattern and was elated. It ran smoother than it ever had. The run up was perfect, upon application of throttle it smoothly reached takeoff RPM. In short it was perfect. He said to the mechanic. "Wow that was a perfect job. What was wrong? What did you do?" The mechanic answered "Just crap in the carburetor" The owner answered. "Wow!
