OK! What's going on here? I know I started this thread, so let me end
it. I know
flying is serious stuff, and I personally am sorry that Syd has taken
offense to my
humor. I also personally apologized to Syd, and asked him to hang around.
I don't
know if he's man enough to do it, but I hope so. I believe that common
sense is a
valuable commodity, and we could use more of it. I also believe that only
someone
dumber than a rock could believe that I was serious about the saw dust.
But, for
those of you who fit the rock description, I was only kidding. I do not
advocate
the saw dust cure. I truly hope that no one actually put some into their
engine.
Further, I admit that I did not actually try it, prior to suggesting it.
So, please
forget it. Note: those of you offended by my sick humor read no
further!!! By the
way, for those who did put saw dust into their Coupe's, It is easily
removed by
pouring Sulfuric Acid into the engine and running it. Acid will dissolve
the wood.
Be certain to remove acid and replace with oil prior to trying to use the
engine
again. ( I can hear it all again. Folks asking if the acid won't hurt the
engine)
Gawd, it's a Joke.
