Well, I realize that I am not the only one feeling increasing dismay at the direction this group has gone.  I subscribed to read about and share serious technical information about flying my 'Coupe and maintaining it.  I am really sorry that this has turned from a site with a lot of promise into what has become mostly a waste of time...there still are nuggets of good information and experiences being posted but wading through the trash and adolescent exchanges is just no longer worth the time.  I am following Syd and others and am outa' here.  The sad thing is that there was so much potential to this site, the need for such a group is evident, yet with the serious contributors and subscribers getting fed up and pulling out what is left will likely go downhill even faster.  Really too bad...  the minority of subscibers who have come to dominate this site with "cute" chat, who are constantly filling the mail with jokes, who cut others down, who play one-upsmanship, and who generally junk up this site are screwing this up for everyone...themselves included because information and the collected wisdom and experience from owners and experienced A&Ps/IAs on our old planes is otherwise hard-to-come-by...and it is drying up on this site with the serious folks getting fed up and pulling out.  Hope it gets under control.  Call me if that happens...  For anyone wanting to engage in any serious Ercoupe information exchange or discussion please feel free to contact me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED]   Adios.   John Olav Johnsen Ercoupe 415-E  N94783  s/n 4894 Albuquerque, New Mexico
