Some of you can't possibly own Ercoupes, because you couldn't have even time to keep them going what with sending me hate mail. One guy must own vapourcoupes, as I can't find any registration for all those he owns ( no it is not who you think), none anywhere near his town, no pilots license listed for him (though admittedly they don't update the pilots license database anymore.) I even downloaded the 12MB current registration file from the FAA, to no avail. And he is a real storyteller though I haven't seen him online for a couple weeks. Why don't you just keep your hate mail to yourself. Geez, I did not even want you guys to quit one list or the other, I just thought two would be better, as suggested by someone else a while back. Basically there are a bunch of nice people on this list, and a few who are... and I apologize in advance for saying it... just plain mean and nasty, as evidenced the hate mail that they like to send out, off the list of course. Not just to me, either. No wonder Tom doesn't want to get involved in this mess of a list. It is one of the really bad things about the Internet that people who would be nice in person act like that online. I suppose that deep down inside they are really mean and nasty but they are too embarrassed to show their true colours in person. Personally I would not care to see a couple of you at the fly in down the road in MD next summer. I would have to wonder what kind of people you are and thus I would have to avoid you. Should I come armed and wear a vest? Probably I'd have to keep watch over my "baby" my plane the whole time anyhow. Of course, I doubt that some of you even own planes. Anyhow, if any of you nicer folks want to have a normal list then please use the one I started, or this one if you can, and if you like to hear some (not all) of these (boy am I having a hard time holding my tongue) folks that is good too. Me I will be out flying, wondering why the heck I would ever get on this list thing anyhow, so have a good one! Unlike some folks, my plane FLYS! REALLY WELL! Plus I always have something to talk about. Up there in the air every good day almost. Imagine that! MAYBE IF YOU WOULD FLY YOURS SOME TOO YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO AMUSE YOURSELF WITH ALL THIS BS AND SENDING ME NASTY MAIL. ARE you afraid of heights?
