Rob, the 5 gal. nose tank may be ternplate, as per service memorandum no. 
31.There is an AD no.55-22-02 on these. I don't know if it is still in 
effect. It is listed in the 1988 AD list. I can't find it in the book but
I 
believe that the 8 gallon wing tanks are stainless and the 9 gallon alum.
