Larry you must be doing something wrong.... I have so far taken 4 pilots that were going to buy a C-150 and three of them now own Ercoupes, and the forth is trying to buy my MINE.
The one I remember the most was a guy that thought the high wing would give better visibility. Well it was a warm summer day. After climbing to 2000 feet over a real pretty lake, he said that the visibility was not bad, I reached over and put his window down and then put my side down... When I asked him how the visibility was the only response was WOW THIS IS GREAT! I told him the only problem was there was no shade from a big wing above you, and that the cost of sun screen had to be figured into the hourly operating cost. He now has a real pretty coupe.... If that doesn't work ask them to look at hours TT and not the year of the plane... a run out Cessna will cost more than a low time Ercoupe..... ----- Original Message ----- From: Larry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 21, 2000 7:13 AM Subject: [COUPERS] MY FORMER FRIEND > I've got a friend out there that's considering buying a C---- 150.
