Hello to all!! I decided to get out to the airport yesterday and clean off the coupe from
the snow and ice we have here in ILL .While I was there I paid my tiedown ,Ihad been thinking of moving to a new airport BTW that has brand new concrete tiedowns and a brand new concrete runway and a giant restuarant with a bar and exotic great food tropical entres kinda neat and a brand new pilot area with leather couches and computers all new.So i'm thinking where I am now has gravel taxiways (good on the props) lousy patched lumpy runways with horrible dips a hut with the windows held together with duct tape and a wierd group that runs the place (never smile) Anyway I moved to a new place. Well they didn't know what to do for me first The old place never cared about you at all let alone what they could do for me their motto was what will you do for me and lets belittle everybody So, I'm moved My son and I ate lunch and had a Beer the waitress saw our coupe and asked us for a ride the asst airport mgr asked me if I'd let his wife sit in it and maybe eventually fly in it when she develops the nerve to fly.This is a very friendly spot so far.This airport is 16 minutes from my house where the old place was 40 minutes .The new place is Schaumburg Airport in ILL come on over we'll have a beer.
