Friends, "From the ground up - the autobiography of an aeronautical engineer" (Fred Weik's autobiography) is fascinating. I had no idea how much this one genius contributed to aviation. If you can get your hands on a copy, and you haven't yet, you must read it. I've got a whole new respect for the man who designed the Ercoupe.
