Hi Georgia,
Think about the first time you drove a car.
Now think about driving a sports car.
Now think about driving a race car.
Now think about the most exciting sex you've ever experienced.
Now put them all together, double it, and think airplane.

When you get back down on the ground, walk around for a little bit
and
think about how you feel.
HOLD THAT MEMORY firmly in your head, for that is about 1/100th of
the
feeling you'll have during your first "solo flight". You'll actually be
up there in the air, for the first time, ALL ALONE, and you'll feel so
confident that you are in complete control and you'll KNOW that you can,
and have, actually done it.
There is no other feeling in the world so great. AND YOU WILL HAVE
DONE
IT! YOU ARE NOW "A PILOT"!!!
Forget the butterflys, they are normal. As soon as you get up
there and
get your hands on the controls for a few minutes they will be gone.
Remember, the instructor is there so you can't make any mistakes that he
doesn't anticipate before you make them. And he WILL let you make a
couple of small 'boo-boos' so you'll be aware of them. And better yet,
he'll show you how to avoid making them again. That's what he's there
for.
Don't worry about it, let the butterflies fly freely, they're just
little bitty baby butterflies. Eat a good breakfast (not to much
liquid) and you'll be fine.
When you get a chance let me know how you made out and what your
feelings were about the whole flight, step by step.

Have a great flight, I hope the weather is perfect for your "First
Flight"! Here's a big kiss for good luck! X (Don't tell Gary) ;-)

Bob Saville

PS, I got your card and enclosure in the "snail-mail" today. Thanks for
the 'extra' I'll use it towards trips to town for printing, etc.
The card was perfect, I didn't know you had any 'baby pictures' of
"Schroedenger", he says 'hi'.

"Happy Flying"
