Hello to All, I've gotta tell ya Georgia's description of her first time (flight that is)brings back some very vivid memories of the very first time for me too.Only difference is that I LEARNED IN A J3 CUB and then bought a Cessna
140 that I had for about 3 years Boy did I use the pedals in that taildragger the wheel landings were generally like grease except when I wasn't paying enough attention to the wind. keep the wing down use the rudder I can still hear my Instructer yelling in shear fear I scared the %^&* out of him many times in fact I can still hear him to this day years later But guess what he isn't yelling (use the %^&*$% pedals) now- I can't -I dont have any like most of you all .I took him for a ride in Bill Coons coupe to PWK and he said you drive it like a car HUH I went "Use the pedal" .. he said you don't have any pedals!! I said the" one and only "B4 were hit the guy running up ahead of us (brake pedal) drove him nuts especially the cross wind landings he's really a conventional pilot. This was alot for Georgia as she has to realize that we all went through the same stuff and every now and then had a brain freeze it's normal overload .Flying isn't like driving a car it takes some learned skills some that have to be relearned and so on.Have fun that's what it is all about lets hear about some of your first times !! watch out ther are ladies on the list too !! dennis 99564 in ILL __________________________________________________________________________ ______ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________________________ Want to find the best email lists?
