While I must confess, I've never flown a 172, I suspect it's a good little
plane.
And, if you ever get around to flying a Coupe, you'll appreciate all the
power the
172 has. As far as responsive, I'll wager it's the most responsive plane
you've
ever flown. Thus, from your perspective, it is responsive. I must say
this little
Coupe of mine is one of the funnest planes I've flown, but every other one
I've been
in has had it's own endearment. I've little bad to say about any of them.
As for my own first time experience? How about the first time after
20 years.
It was in the Coupe. I was very apprehensive. I had only held the
controls of a
tri-pacer once in the 20 year period, and that was after we were 1000 agl.
Took the
Coupe up, flew it for an hour, and then came the time of reckoning. In we
came for
landing. All went flawlessly, and I greased her down. You'd a thought
I'd been
flying all the time. I guess it's true what they say about riding
bicycles, sex,
and now flying.Larry Georgia Trehey wrote: > Hello, > > I understand that I gave some of you a good laugh, calling the Ceesna 172 > responsive. > > 1.
