Well I got my engine going again early Thursday morning at about 2. It
fired
right to life and hopefully it will work out properly if I ever get around
to
working up the nerve to fly it again. The new rubber mounts I put in make
a
world of difference, surprisingly. The new Classic Cast cylinders don't
seem
to have any inclination to run any hotter than the old ones did even
though
they are new. I fired it up and it was running just like before in all
respects except a little smoother and quieter! The hardest part after it
was
all back together was reinstalling all the accessories, hoses, palnuts,
and
that awful tin foil baffling. It took nearly 3 months of working every
night
and roughly 200 hours including 45 last week in case anybody else is
thinking
of doing their own. I am not sure I would do it again! Glen Ward
