Greg I had the same problem and some of it I'am sure was entering the cabin, I removed the fllets and tried to seal around them this did ot completely cure the problem. then I put on an extension to the exhaust pipe so that it now sticks out of lower cowl about 4 1/2 inches now the streaks are gone seems that this extension helped cure the problem at least on my coupe (originaly the exhaust pipe only stuck out about 1 to 1 1/2 inches) hope this helps you
