Greg you are right there is something about the Ercoupe, I sold my Coupe about a month ago and got a Piper Cherokee, know one comes up to talk about her. I have MANY great stories about meeting people in my coupe.... I had one retired airline Captain ask if he could just sit in the Coupe, I said sure you can without even thinking about it. It was interesting to see him step up on the wing walk and climb inside, I could see a time long ago reflected in his eyes, as he slowly looked over the instrument panel he said a few things had changed. I asked him what he meant? After a few minutes he told me a story that has stuck with me to this day. It seems that he had learned to fly in THIS coupe of mine... I took him for a ride and we laughed and laughed, talked about the good old days.... I will not forget that day.
