Hello All, I spent 1/2 of last Sunday cleaning the exterior of 564 the fuselage is white mainly and prone to dirt staining even though I've put on wax twice a year (spring and fall)I've tried simple green, orange clean store bought products they suck the belly just smears.The cowl chi n smears the oil isn't cut enough what store bought products have the best cleaning ability that won't screw the paint up. I also want the dirt staining to wipe off too so I can rewax. I have rag wings that were recovered last year and painted with Dope so I don't want to screw up the wings either by removing paint in the process I would like a product that can be bought in an store somewhere locally . What are you all using????? Also what waxes are you appling that gives good protection. I read about an oil separater that is a retrofit for all Continentals and Lycomings under ,I think, 250 hp that should keep the bellies cleaner anyone know about them the cost is about 300.00
