Well, Jim, Thank for asking about this project. This is a project that I have had in mind for about 10 years. The first time I was in San Diego Aerospace. No, Ercoupe or anything about them. About 4 or 5 months ago a fellow who stops by our hangar and I were talking. He puts in some Volunteer work at the work shop for SD Aerospace. I ask him to talk to he boss down there. And then a few weeks later a fellow in Fla was
looking to give an Ercoupe away. Well, with that I got on the phone to Aerospace and talk to them personally. The big guy that is. First thing out of his mount was "We were just talking about that a few days ago." That Coupe was to far gone to be worth my drive down to Fla. The Salt air had work it over to well. Thank to Lynn who saved me a trip and looked it over. So here I am looking for even parts I can put together. Have some part to start with but that is far for being what all that is needed. Now about the drive to get Uncle Fred into The Hall of Fame here. A fellow Ercouper that has a TV show that is sponsored by Aerospace hit a wall because the panel that Sponsor the three that are inducted each is not to be know to the public. Fred Province is his name and (he is still interested in his project) 619-460-3213 is his phone number. I think once there is an Ercoupe there. Then Uncle Fred cannot be over looked. We all know it was only made by Erco. But it is really a Fred Weick Coupe. __________________________________________________________________________ ______ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________ Enlighten your in-box. http://www.topica.com/t/15
