Finishing up my new paint and interior and have some questions I hope
some of you can answer....
1. Are there any other alternatives to the Super Bowl or is this the
best nose bowl for the money?
2. It looks like my radio was wired up with auto wire and I want to
put in aircraft grade wiring. What are the details... like is there
a
special butt joint to use and is there a special crimper that must be
used. Anything else?
3. I'm putting my front windshield back in. Do both the back (the
cabin "arch") *AND* the front (that sits on the deck) take the
sealstrip (thick gummy stuff) or does just the arch? Is there a
cement or glue that is used on the weatherstripping for the front of
the windshield and if so what is it (or if you use the sealstrip on
the front does this negate the use of the glue)?
4. On the rear windows does any glue have to be used with the
molding
and lockbead (there wasn't any on there when I took it out and it
seemed to seal fine)? Any advice for a "lockbead tool" without
outright buying one?
5. Any advice for nice wingwalks without spending $40 for the
sandpaper like tape?
Thanks a bunch folks. Boy, can't wait to get my baby back up in the
air. I'm going through MAJOR withdrawals. Was even tempted once to
rent a C***na, arrrghh! (just kidding, please don't flame me!)
