Yesterday, Tues May 2 in the DFW area was one of those great days, 29.92 20 degrees C, no wind, vis beyond unlimited with big old honkin storms building out to the east of the metroplex. As I am still a new guy in Coupes, I experienced about one hour of low level heaven. Way out south of the Bravo which surrounds DFW I felt just how good it can get. Sure is nice to go out in the rural part of America and see how many persons you can make wave at
you. Folks on the ground out in the country seem to really enjoy a low RPM pass and a wave from a Coupe pilot. People on their poarches, fishin, tractor drivers, everbody. Made me feel like somebody. Bluebonnetts look like long swaths of blue paint God Almighty Himself made right across the green fields. The green of the fields even stood out more with the gold reflected off the thunder heads to the east. With all the rain we have had in the last few days, the rivers were flowing great as well. Sundown was equally inspiring with the thunderheads in the east glowing and popping flashbulbs inside. I had the perfect day with the perfect airplane, just thought I would share it with those who would appreciate it, blue skies, Ed Bandy (first Coupe hop 1959 age 8, flew solo in the Coupe Jan 1, 2000) __________________________________________________________________________ ______ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
