whilr flying to newberg, oregon one fall day, I struch a duck, or rather
he struch
me...in the right half of my 172 windshield....the airplane slowed down
FAST to
right above stalling, as the entire windshield carried away....BOY!, that
propeller
sure looks CLOSE!....landed safely, and was still cleaning my pants, and
the cockpit
of duck for quite a while....believe me, 172's don't like to fly without a
windshield!...jolly in aurora, ore
