Welcome to the Group:
   I would think that there are many more Ercoupes that have been
upgraded to an O-200 than Aircoupes. My reasoning is based on the C-65,
75 & 85 engines that the earlier planes came with as opposed to the C-90
that the later coupes had installed as original equipment. Also just the
larger numbers that were manufactured by ERCO.
   "O-200 (climbed like crazy, which is nice where I'm based)". And
where might that be? 
   Kurt, I am sure that you will be very happy with a 'coupe. As you
pointed out the only thing that you will need to get over is that bad
habit of trying to push on those nonexistent pedals.
