Well, Ed, Lets start with a few questions. Would the tread off be worth

it? Your going to pull the noise upright. Slow the airplane down. Lose
Alt. 
right. How much? And for how long are you going to do this? Will the prop 
stop?
   Will it stop at 65/60/55 what is your sink rate? 500 ft a minute is
what 
Alon said as opp.@ 70 IAS. So at 65 is it 550 or 600? And at 55 800 fpm. 
Remember that the sink rate goes down only higher (OK, you may be under a 
thunder cloud and get lift)
   With a wind milling prop you have a given are you going to experiment
at a 
time like this?  17 mins. and your going to fart away some of it playing 
around?
    One more question. How much less drag are you getting with the prop 
stopped? 50 foot a min?
