Hi Folks-
Jack, I have to say you had me going there for a second, with that subject
title. However, I know it was meant all in good fun. I'm always happy to
provide some humor!
It is so great that you met John and got to see his beautiful red coupe.
Remember, it is the first one I ever saw?! John's such a nice man and I'm
so glad he went to Watsonville and got to meet you. I was planning to go
{drive} myself, but my tax return $ didn't come back yet :-(
I think that I metioned that John has a collection of old cars, too, and
they are in as super condition as his plane.
Anyway, most important of all is that you asked him to take me for a ride
in his coupe. That is so cool!!! Thank you so much! What a nice
surprise. You're right, it would have taken me a long time yet to work up
the nerve to ask him, especially after my performance last Sunday. I was
going to tell him that was me. Honest I was. It's a small town and an
even smaller airport. I figure I'd have to fess up eventually. I'm
calling him next week. This is going to be so fabulous. Yipee!
