Hello to all, I have a reoccurring problem that isn't a big deal but it's alittle deal I've developed a static that is being picked up through my headset and intercom. It's static that it's volume isn't enhanced at all by adjusting the radio but can be made louder adjusting the intercom (not the radio)>I'm thinking it's off the generator being dirty brushes or something like that it's not a steady tone that changes with RPM it's a staticty set of changing tone that are RPM related to some extent .How can I test this, and I have those filters inline (capacitors ?) could they be bad ?The radio didn't do this all the time just every now and then. Now it's alot more, Can I spray the brushes or something to se if that helps or what also how can I test to see if the filters are the culprit.I know I should go to the shop but this really isn't th t bad and I'd rather spend the Money on something more significant should it arise.It's more of an annoyance than a problem sinc the radio works fine and the intercom works fine .I'm picking up R F from something. dennis 99564 in gloomy ILL
