Experimenting with my computer again, please bear with me.
This computer stuff is difficult for non-technical types, like
plumbers and such.

Subject: [COUPERS] I saw an Alon today

      I Saw An Alon Today

I heard a noise, outside I think
It came from over head
A noise loud and sputtery
With at least one cylinder dead

I look in time to see a plane
If you want to call it that
An old man perched upon the seat
In a torn and tattered hat

It's covered in oil from nose to tail
With parts vibrating loose
A sour look upon his face
Like drinking grapefruit juice

It made me wonder, It made me think
How did it get up there?
Was the old man crazy, or just a fool
With nothing left to dare

At a snail's pace it crossed the sky
With smoke in trail behind
A cloud descends upon the town
I've thoughts that aren't so kind

It's finally gone, peace is restored
The racket has died down
The old man is gone, the picture fades
It's memory makes me frown

This story has come to it's end
I've nothing left to say
Except these words you've heard before
I saw an Alon today
