I would avoid the Delcom.   It does not work too well in powered planes.
The volume is not loud enough even with a headset and it does not transmit
near as well as the 10-year-old Sportys A300 that I got on Ebay for $225.
I
sold my Delcom this past week and I consider them to be basically junk for
use as a primary radio.   I even sent mine down there to Delcom and they
fixed 3 things but it still was pitiful compared to the Sporty's, even on
my
new antenna.  The Delcom is also hard on batteries compared to the
Sportys.
